Typically it's an invasion on one's privacy if done without the familiarity. Yet, I have never met a scientist who has not broken the rule on certain occasions.
I never stated that I study such a thing; it's within my nature to learn and adapt which is why I pay attention to how others act and react. Of course, that's not to say that i've never misled those around me, however I had a duty which required my identity to remain a secret.
The general belief is that scientists are meant to keep their intentions perfectly clear. Of course, you are one with words.
I must maintain a certain perspective on myself, if I were to lose self-confidence, I could not believe in my results enough to follow up. Likewise, if I was overconfident, I would hardly give thought to being wrong, and perhaps further delude myself.
Some can be worse than others, and some hold a great deal more information.
And yet you seem to walk an incredibly thin line as it is, with your air it could be questioned as to whether you always completely stop when it's called for. Although, I suppose that science and studies would not further knowledge if they always stayed behind limitations.
I'm sure that it's certainly something to that effect.
In this sense you would likely have no trouble in questioning each individual to find out your answer. Then again, that would likely only truly apply if you have engaged in detailed conversations.
Admittedly I haven't been up for talking with everyone as I usually am. Aster seems quite promising for an in-depth chat concerning "Fonons" as I've come across the term several times now. Even Enno is asking me what I know about them.

Ah, you flatter me~ I should hardly think so highly of myself.

And yet, i'm certain that you hold yourself within a certain amount of praise.

I could not think so little of myself, as I would not be able to continue my studies otherwise.

I suppose that is certainly one way to look upon things of that nature.

Perhaps it can be said so then. It is rather amusing in my opinion, and I would question how others perceived me.
