Halloween 2K6 was amazing! Thanks to the creative genius of Zak Kruszynski, I had a pretty hilarious costume. I went as the RMS Titanic and my friend, Tina, went as the iceberg. I was the sinking facade of the ship, and had a skirt of cardboard/crepe paper water. The water was even garnished with lifeboats and floating bodies. There was a kind of unintentional greatest disasters of the 20th century theme going on because Zak fashioned a hilarious Hindenberg head piece for his costume. The night started with some Irish car bombs and countless cans of Bud Light -- a warm and fuzzy coat of booze for a frigid evening. Anyway, after a bunch of drinks the Hindenberg (Zak), the announcer (Dave), lame/shades of brown (Joe), the iceberg (Tina), Christmas carolers (Julie/Jaylene), Flava Flav (Mike), a harlequin doll (Katie), and I headed downtown. As to be expected, there were scantily clad girls as contruction workers, nurses, various animals, and pretty much anything and everything else slutified. Anyway, it was all in all a great evening!
Yesterday Joe and I were reminiscing about all the great animated Disney movies, so then we got a little crazy and decided to go out and rent Oliver and Company and Fern Gully. So good!
Last week I went on a few field trips. Two of the stops that are worth mentioning were Frank Gehry's Peter B. Lewis building at Case Western Reserve and the Browns stadium. Peter B. Lewis was absolutely phenomenal - Gehry is an architectural genius. Also, the Browns stadium was fucking awesome! I have never been to the stadium at all, but I thouroughly enjoyed it. We got a nice tour of the press box, the scoreboard/tech. room, various louges, the guest locker room, and we even got to walk down to the field! Well, we weren't actually allowed to touch the field because the grounds crew wouldn't be too pleased, but we stood on the warning track. I just had to throw this little tidbit in here because I know that I'm making a certain someone in Korea jealous! BA HA HA HA!!!! I have pictures, too, so I'll get those up here one of these days.
Well, that's all that's really happening.
See ya in the funny papers...
Big Hugs & Sloppy Snogs,
