Yesterday when I got home from work, Yoda was still walking on three legs.  So we took him to the Vet.  The Vet scared us and said that he would need Xrays to determine if he thought was right...and that he would need to have surgery and a biopsy.

Today Yoda went to the Animal Hospital, I called them a few hours later and he was still waiting to ( Read more... )

You're not being an over protective dog owner. You're being a GOOD dog owner.

Sycamore's bladder cost us 500 bucks last month. She has to go in for another check up next week (that's going to be 130 bucks, because it's 30 bucks to see the Vet, and 106 bucks to have her urine tested.......poor Sycamore....she hates the vet....she won't take their bribes of liver treats.....she'll take them from me or my Mum, but not from the Vet).

Then, unbeknownst to Sycamore, a few days later in that week she is going to have her doggy girly bits out. Oh no :( I don't know how I'll be able to leave her there. It'll break my heart. I'm too soft.

Today my moron dog thought it might be a great idea to try and kill herself. (Ok she didn't really, she just wanted to eat my sewing things, which were out of her way, but she found a way to grab them while I was in the shower....she'll always find a way...she's smarter than I give her credit for). I freaked out and cried for ages even though she only swallowed 3m of cotton (which I had to pull out of her throat). She sat there trembling because she made me sad.

I told her not to be stupid, I'm not mad at her, I was just worried about her.

(I could talk about Sycamore all day).

Anyway. I hope Yoda gets fixed :( It's the worst thing when you see your doglet in pain, because you don't know how to help them. A sad Sycamore makes for a very sad Linda.
