The majority of fighting moves used in video games, Tales specifically in this context, are impractical. If you stop and think about it for a moment none of us really need to move as flamboyantly as we do. It's a waste of energy and time.

Indeed. That still begs the question why we insist on doing it.

I don't enjoy the prospect of fighting for the entertainment of an audience I can't see, but I suppose I can't argue with the evidence.
