Adey's Calling

Feb 22, 2009 23:55

Yes, it's been a while since I last updated. For those who didn't know, yours truly is on Adelaide shores, or in more specific terms, the cold and silent suburbs. Analytically, if there ever is such a word, it'll be almost two weeks tomorrow since we arrived. It's summer but global warming has wrecked Mother Nature's natural course of things slash temperature. Sometimes it feels like winter in Hong Kong or spring in Japan and the remaining days felt like proper summer.

One thing it can't distort however, is her beauty. The skies look absolutely gorgeous (even if the sunset's at 7.30pm) and the beaches and oceans look even more beautiful.

That said, almost everyday I was out - buying groceries, necessary furniture, shopping, orientation, enrolling in classes and just hanging out. It almost feels like there was not a moment to catch a breath. Today, I was just in the whole day: doing laundry and just lazing around the house. I cooked dinner tonight though, for Debs and I. But REALLY simple cooking - pasta and mushroom soup. Simple, did I not tell you?

I'mmma need to improve my cooking knowledge of recipes.

Anyways, we so need to get our internet up soon because connecting to the uni's is just crappy and frustrating (we can't get into MSN and stuff). Behold the equality of this place - the uni internet ain't free~ Sigh, Taylors wasn't that bad in their internet services after all we realize.

Well, gotta keep this short and get started on some side project. I'm pretty behind time. Besides, I don't think I can be online long with the uni's connection. Classes haven't even started!

I do miss everyone. Family. The Stitch. BFF. My Fairy Creampuffamuzzer. Sakais. And everyone else.

AND THE FOOD. T_T

Loves to everyone and be sure that I will be back with more (that is if anyone reads).

xoxos from Adey,

P/S Debs and I are going to the Phantom of the Opera musical though!!!!!! *is excited*
