It's 6 days into 2009

Before anyone thinks that Rae has disappeared off the face of the planet again, let me assure you that she hasn't. And my testimony of that is as true as coming from Rae herself; especially since I am her.

Yes, yes, I don't make sense. So it seems that if I were to do that Year in Review for LJ meme again in 2010 (how futuristic that sounds), one thing would remain the same - "I don't make sense". How drastically sad that is.

Anyways, Happy New Year 2009 to everyone, as late as I am (bout 6 days, ain't it?). If I were to recall, the past week has been pretty busy, what with public holidays, house cleaning, reunion with high school friends, monthsary, house cleaning and (one of) the best of all, my editor gave me work.

Like real writing work.

Although it was and is just reviews (including today's), I'm happy enough.

Although right now, all I want to do is continuing to sleep in Ben's car with his formal shirt over me and a pillow in my arms.

Or just plain go to bed would be satisfactory enough as well.

So my first task was this food review, given to me about a week or two ago, but it was only arranged to be on today (which I will start writing...tomorrow) and the venue is Club Quattro, one of the new coolest hang outs in the city. Personally, I've not really been to clubs...or should I say never have been but the impression I get from the outsides weren't helpful either in my judgment. But this one I really like. The whole concept and the ambiance is just really awesome and classy. The food tonight was superb (especially the Spicy Prawn Tom Yum) and the desserts? Beautiful.

Oh and if you're thinking "Club?" don't worry because that's the beauty of their concept that I like. It's all split up. They have four sections - Restaurant, Lounge, Bar, and Club - all named after seasons and thus that theme as the decoration and ambiance. Like I said, it's a really nice place and before I continue to babble about it and soon get too tired to finish up some work I brought back home, I will end with a picture.

Not of the club though. And if you wish to skip my random declaration of adoration, I wouldn't mind. (:

I love that with you, I could go to Toys R Us because you want to and I do too.
I love that when we're there, you're not embarassed to be seen with this tall girl who acts like a lil kid,
pressing all the "TRY ME" buttons in the store.
I love that you could just hand me more Lego bricks as I try to build the tallest one block "building" at the play table.
I love that you love me for who I am.

My Stitch! <3

Smeepy Loves to everyone,
