It's been a week...and a day.

I was going to post this yesterday but by the time I was done with showering and submitting my assignment online, I was on the verge of falling asleep already.

Well, what was suppose to be a meet-after-a-week turned out to be meet-three-days-in-a-row with Ben. Not that I'm not grateful, it's a wonderful thing to be given a free lift home to meet him.

So he came to pick me up from college yesterday for lunch and we went to Pyramid, wandered around contemplating what to eat...so he made the decision in the end. We went to The Chicken Rice Shop. Chicken rice again. On Friday. Again.

Last week Friday, he brought me chicken rice too.

I guess chicken rice and rain
bonds us in some ways too.

We were there for about 2 hours and then he said "K, I'll send you home now lar."

And there I thought "Wah, so soon...Cheh."

Hahaha, whaaaat? I did think it was a very short *ehem* date. Feels weird saying that word, but yes.

But in the end, he went to my place and we decided to hang out a lil while longer and after going round and round Shah Alam, we stopped by the park there. Initially, it was a tad bit sunny but somehow, the clouds covered it up soon after. And we just sat by the lake, talking and enjoying the breeze. He's a total nature-attracter. Approved by Mother Nature.

The other day we were at the park, we saw a rainbow. Yesterday, there were birds and tortoises roaming around us...nearby. I think we saw about about 7 or 8 tortoises in the lake swimming near us. And a couple of birds hopping around near us. AND WE SAW A STORK (i think) TWICE THERE! It was so cool!

Later my mom called and it turned out she wasn't coming home early like she said she was so he and I had dinner together too.

In total, it was probably about 6 hours plus that we spent together yesterday. Oh and it rained as we were leaving the park...and then he literally swept me off my feet. In some ways.

I had a great time yesterday; I think it's safe to say that we both had a wonderful time together. It's nothing much and it's not like we need to hang out at the mall or spend money to be together and have fun. Just being in each other's company is more than enough to keep us happy. Just talking at the park is happy-fying enough.

It is all just enough.

This was meant to be posted yesterday but oh well.

Happy One week and A Day, sayang.

you and me, him&i, memories bring back smiles and tears, benny the bobo
