A most horrid thing happened today. And yes, I'm updating for the sake of those who ask me to update. My life is getting as eventful as Merdeka Day. I don't even know why I used that as a comparison.
I haven't been online the entire week because (Debs, now u noe why u haven't seen me online) is because:
1) I'm at my grandparents' place for my entire one week break.
2) There's no difference even if I was still at home next to my wireless-leech-able-neighbour because he BALIK KAMPUNG!
Yea, my Dad got me this wireless thing that I'm trying now from my grandparents' place...it's quite slow...well, it was annoyingly extra slow yesterday when I tried it in my lil prison-like secluded study room but now the signal strength says "EXCELLENT (80)". The number means so much to me. Oh look, now it's 94. Why on earth am I even telling you this? I'll have to try it again at Shah Alam tomorrow.
Next up, (yes, this will be a wordy and long entry -that's what happens when I don't update every day of my life ABOUT everyday of my life), the SECOND highlight of this week is...
MY BELOVED AND MOST AWESOME FRIENDS (ok lar, to college mates, don't terasa, I love you guys too. XD ) IN MY LIFE came to visit me at work yesterday AND today! It was like "shifts" like what Val said. Why? Here's why (I seem to like making lists nowadays):
1st shift: Val & Addie @ 11.00 to 1.00 p.m. (18/10/07)
2nd shift: Pohz and Shal @ 2.30 to 5.15 p.m. (18/10/07)
3rd shift: Adila & Anisa @ 1.45 to 4 p.m. (19/10/07)
BANZAI!
I have not seen them since my hair was last 2 inches shorter than it is now. My similes today are the weirdest I've ever created.
I FINALLY PLAYED POOL AND WON!!!
Ok, fine. It was me and Shal in ONE team against POHZ. But it was the first time for me and Shal so...heh.
And ADDIE, DON'T FORGET MAH GOODIES YOU'RE SPOZ TO GIVE ME IN 2 WEEKS TIME!!! I've waited for them for almost a year now since she forgot my Raya cookies last year and ate them and...basically I never got them. Ah wait, she belanja-ed me McD's ice cream. Hahaha. Yay.
Hmm, before I continue about the 3rd shift people. Here's something I got from Anisa's blog...well, the kind that one link leads to another "got from dunno-who and dunno-who"s kind.

You are always alert and keenly observant. You are not truly satisfied with your everyday status and you are seeking fresh avenues which can give you the opportunity to prove your worth. You feel that there are still many barriers that stand between you and recognition - but one by one you will overcome them. Your tenacity is your one good point - like an English Bulldog, once you take the bite, you will seldom let go.
You need an atmosphere of peace and quiet and you would like to share a bond of understanding with the 'right person' - you have the belief that with the right person, your stress and anxiety could be minimised.
You wear your heart on your sleeve and since you are an emotional person you are apt to give your all - heart and soul - to all those that show you a little affection; but take care - it would appear that you have been extremely hurt in the past and you keep leaving yourself wide open for punishment.
You are feeling trapped by the situation as it stands at this time and what is more, you feel powerless to remedy it. You are stressful, angry and disgruntled. You feel that everything that you try to do to change the situation is thwarted and your hopes and aspirations all seem to be receding into the ever distant future. You have reached the state where you now doubt whether your dreams will ever be achieved and this is not only causing mental stress but heartache. You need to get away from it all - you need to have time to think, to recuperate, to be able to make your own decisions.
You are anxious about all the limitations to which you are subjected to at this time. You feel that you are not valued for what or who you are. You need OUT. So why procrastinate any longer - MOVE!

Yea, okay.
Some of it seems true though but I don't think I'm THAT negative-like.
Oh yes, the biggest highlight of the week so far?
My phone got stolen at work.
