The title says it all.
It's the day Jesus Christ rose from the dead - one of the many meaningful celebrations for Christians/Catholics alike.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

But even if it's a day to rejoice and be thankful (and not think of the materialistic & commercialised Easter), it's not wrong to throw in a couple of chocolate surprises and indulge.
