Running on empty
Thinking out loud:
Tomorrow night after work we are bottling the pyment that we brewed a couple of weeks ago.
My great-uncle died a couple of weeks ago in AZ - since the weather was so bad back home in IL at that time the service is being held this weekend - so we are headed there on Friday night. I called and told my Dad tonight of our plans and he sounds genuinely happy that we are coming up for this - it seems like it has been so long since Christmas. Dad was very close to my great-uncle - he was a surrogate father since his father died when he(my Dad) was 5 years old. So, this loss is a bit harder than you would think for an uncle for my Dad, more like attending his own Dad's funeral if you will. The good thing is that it will bring together much family that gets together less and less frequently. It is sad that families are more geographically separated than they used to be. Or maybe it isn't, I guess it is all perspective.
Anyway - I would have called to let you know
cybret but I was talking to a geocaching friend for much too long on the phone tonight and it has gotten late. I do not know how much time we will have so I don't know if we will be able to catch up with you on this trip - but if we are in the area, we may be able to meet up for some Monical's.
The reason for the subject line - it seems more and more that I do not have the time to do what needs to be done. I'm tired!
