OOC: Drabble drabble do~
Alright folks, I've found my self fighting off a epic bout of writers block both story and rp-wise and would love some help. So I'm doing my own personal drabble meme. Going with the same basic rules as the comm meme, except the music list will be used as only inspiration, not a timer XD

Day by day she always had one major constant. No matter how odd her surroundings or her own centuries fuddled mind, she had this.
Amaterasu took in the scents of boiled fish and soy sauce into her nose, sighing softly in pure joy. She savored it for a few long moments before taking a tiny sliver in her teeth, memorizing the taste before she started wolfing it down with gusto.
The fish didn't last long, and she looked up at the cook with shiny black eyes. Kambei simply smiled, patting her head and telling her that she was a fine hound indeed. Amaterasu gave her best doggie grin for the man that fed her so well. No leftovers for her, oh no!
But all to soon he was gone, off to train his student or some other such thing. She sat there for a long moment, whining a little at the empty kitchen. It was so quiet.
It was then that she noticed that he had left all the fish for her... A tiny wrinkle formed over her eyes. That wasn't right...
Hours later, and exhausted Samurai stumbled into his room. Daisukenojo had been exceptionally stubborn that day, and after breaking up another fight between his new and old students he was ready to retreat to his room for awhile. Perhaps a week or so?
But instead of an empty and quiet room he found a small box on the tiny bedside table. The samurai approached it carefully, lest it be one of Gorobei's jokes.
Inside were various treats. Riceballs and tiny cooked bits of meat and fish, all nicely arranged with a pair of chopsticks. The note said “From a friend”
He never really figured out who made it, though the handwriting was exquisite.
