home again tomorrow.
had lovely friend-filled last 30 hours, including sedate new year's revelry involving guitar hero, alcoholic brunch, and dinner with many shiny people.
i didn't make it to everything i wanted to (contra, moishe house), and i am sorry if i stood you up.
i am also re-reminded that i talk too damn much.

in less than a week i start my practicum.
if all goes according to plan, i will finish it by valentine's day, preferably even before february really gets underway.
i'm nervous that this practicum will reinforce the impression i've been getting over the last semester, that i'm actually more suited for primary school.
but it may turn me around, and convince me that i am versatile enough to tackle any age group!
time will tell.
i am never, ever coming back to dc without some sex toys.
i know i was out of my head when i was packing, but seriously.
it's amazing how quickly the unthinkable has just become routine.
two weeks ago, i was convinced it was all a dream.
now it's just life.
the autopilot coping mechanisms never cease to amaze.
i'll finish off my 2007 booklist when i get home.
