i found some school notebooks from when i was little. it's funny how i hate kids but i am so obsessed with trying to retain all my childlike qualities. we got to do the neatest things. like say our last name and then make up a new one.
i would like to be able to say i would pick a better one now, but that would be a blatant lie. gwen chocolate still is (and probably always will be) the coolest name i can fathom.
and then another was a story i wrote
i laughed at this for like 50 hours. my favorite sentence is 'and the kids go to a catolic night school but dont have one lousy little microscothic cross or they never, never, never eat garlic.' i still think this story is hilarious and horrifying. i guess i have low standards. if i could choose to be me at present or be me as a kid i would go back to being 7-year-old me in a heartbeat. lots less confusion, lots more creativity. same amount of awe. note how even as a child, i knew catholics were vampires.
