well there you go, missed a day XD

Day 03 - Your favourite new show (aired this TV season)

Your Favourite New Show

Geeze i'm trying to remember what shows were new, i know a lot of ppl have been saying Vampire Diaries but i just cant get into that one. I started watching, and God Damn is Ian hot in it, but after about 5 or so eps i just got bored and didn't care about the other main characters anymore.

And to be honest, when i heard that they'd changed the physical characteristics of Elena so that she ends up looking eerily similar to Twilight's Bella - hmmmmm i dunno that doesn't sit well with me. (fucking CW i swear to God)
And no i haven't read these books, and sorry but no i don't think i ever will.

White Collar, that was new right, was pretty good and that mid season clif hanger made me go WHuuuuuuuuuuT. However even with the very charismatic and pretty Matt Bomer i still didn't stick around very long.

What about Castle, was that new this season or last season?? I get so confused because they take AAAAges to actually get shown here in Oz compared to when they air in the states.

Anywho... i really like Castle and i think that really Nathan Fillion has A LOT to do with that. I find him charming, funny and ruggedly handsome ;)

OMG I DID NOT KNOW THIS (from Wikipedia):
In the series, Castle writes a novel titled Heat Wave. As a tie-in, ABC has released that novel as a real book with "Richard Castle" as the author. It is entirely in character from the dedication to the acknowledgments, although the latter references the principal cast and the show's creators by name.

ABC released the first half of the novel in weekly increments on their website. The complete novel was published in September 2009 as a hardcover. It debuted at #26 on the New York Times Best Seller list.[14] In its 4th week on the list, Heat Wave broke into the top 10 at #6.

Naked Heat, a sequel to Heat Wave, is set to be released in the fall of 2010. ABC has released the first chapter of Naked Heat online.

Thats actually pretty cool LOL

I will admit to actually not having watched all of these episodes but the ones that i have watched i've really liked :D

Day 04 - Your favourite show ever
Your Favourite Show Ever

okay WOW, this question is HARD - Ney IMPOSSIBLE.

I don't just have ONE fav show ever. All of these shows I love to bits and all for different reasons:

Supernatural
I have a very strange relationship with Supernatural the TV show. I first started watching because i followed Jensen from Smallville. So yes I have been watching from day 1.

And i always did enjoy it, but i'd heard the online fandom was pretty crazy (now that i think about it I dont even know WHERE i heard that, its just like something everyone on the internet knows by osmosis or something!!!). I had no reason to join them because I dont slash J2 and i like Jensen but i'm not that head over heels about him either - so previously no desire to squee with other fans was needed.

Until this guy showed up:

He got me srsly interested in the show again, on an actual fandom level rather than just a regular watcher level, and i also found this OSSUM place that seemed really great and somewhere that i could get lost in: ontd_spnparty and thus this journal was born and i became a Misha stan XD and have met some truly great, ossum people *hugs*

NCIS
IDEC i love this show, i'm not involved in any of its online fandom (i've heard that they can be supernatural-like crazy about some things). I like the characters more than anything the relationships between the team members, the occasional funny moments and overarching season plots are what suck me in. Although Outonpyrrole tells me that their forensic methods are usually not real world practical, lol thank goodness i know nothing about sciencey sciencelike stuff XD

Dexter
There is nothing else like dexter on tv right now. A tv show that makes you relate to and even care about a ruthless serial killer??? Dexter pulls it off with great writing and great acting. I think they've been really lucky with thier guest stars over the seasons. I dont recall who played Dexters bro in the first season but he was great. In the second season they had James 'Suprise mother fucker' Doakes, in the third they scored Jimmy Smits and in this latest fourth season they had John Lithgow (holy shit is he an ossum bad guy!)

I get kinda bummed that each Dexter season only has about 12 eps, a lot like the British seasons of tv shows, but in this case it actually means that pretty much every episode moves the overall season arch forward, there aren't really many filler eps, and even those that do feel a little bit filler esque end up having some relevance to the overall ending.

Breaking Bad
You remember the dad from Malcolm in the Middle?? That was Brian Cranston and in Breaking Bad he plays Walt a 40 something high school chemistry teacher who is diagnosed with lung cancer. He realises that the quickest way to get the money to provide for his family during his treatments and after he is gone is by cooking meth.
He partners up with an old student of his Jesse and the two of them bumble their way though the dangerous world of drug dealing.

I am not shitting you when i say that this show is the best show on tv right now. The acting and plot is excellent all round. At the moment Outonpyrrole and I are watching the third season and shiiiiiiiiiiiiiit, it is my favourite thing right now. I love u Show!!

HOLY CRAP that ended up being really long, and spanned several hours - LOL
