i saw the most beautiful thing today. I was driving around cape horn on my way to school at around 6:20 am, and i chanced to look over my shoulder breifly. For a split second i was able to view the entire gorge lit up with milky golden sunlight, you know the kind that reminds me of margerine butter only nicer to look at. the greens were so dark and ( Read more... )

That view is great huh...I've had the privilege to see it every summer for the past 8 years.

That view is incredible. I have had the honor of being able to see it everyday of the week, its just once in a while that i notice it with childlike eyes:)

I really enjoyed your pictures, especially the ones of the morning light. Do you spend much time in the gorge? What areas are you familiar with? I've taken all kinds of pictures around the dam of the mountains and stuff and up in hemlock and stabler. I share this with you because you seem like someone who appreciates this area's natural beauty as much as i do:) Im amazed every day of my life by the little things...

Well I've lived in Stevenson all my life. After high school. I went to Clark and did the drive daily. Then took about a year and a half off from the Commute to work in Carson then got a Job In Camas and have been there for the last 5 years. I find myself taking the scenery for granted. I guess its because I have seen it day after day for my entire life. But as I grow older I am noticing the scenery more and more.

I've watched your Brother's Journal for about 2 years because it is on Aaron De bryun's Friends List. I volunteer With the EMS Rescue with Aaron. Ummm hmmm anything more about me? Not really just a guy that is living day to day pay check to pay check...

Well I'm glad you liked those pictures I'm looking forward to getting some sunrise shots later on this summer. Those are great!!
