(no subject)
So 21 people turned up last night. Last minute plans always turn out great. The damage wasn't so bad. I was expecting more.. I'm going to try make this dinner thing a monthly affair cos what else can I do with my money besides spend it on my loved ones right?
We met as usual at Spize and despite leaving school at 7.40pm, I arrived earlier than any of them. I was so afraid when I withdrew some money at the Shop N Save cos there were many unscrupulous people hanging around. I held on so tightly to my wallet. My mom arrived soon after and helped get seats. Our table was the longest one there and if that didn't draw enough attention, the birthday song surely would have done that.
It started with 3 people singing cos we weren't aware that they were bringing out the cake. Then as the table realised, it got louder and soon after the staff stopped their work and sang, wholeheartedly. At the end of the song, a few tables surrounding us started clapping along. It was so amazing. Haha.
Later, when I got up to settle the bill, the cashier asked me how old I was and wished me. I was shocked and mumbled that it wasn't my birthday. Can't they tell the difference?! As I was going back to my seat, more people wished me. Mampos right. Haha.
