long time no post
Ok, well I realized I haven't updated in forever, and I'm probably going to have to sacrifice a nap for doing this so I will make it brief. The last few weeks have been nuts. The semester is flying by already and I can't believe tomorrow is February. Here's a run down of what's been happening.
My trip to Florida and back was a bit of a whirlwind and was also pretty boring/depressing. I did get to see my great grandmother though one last time before she passed away late January 17th. I'm glad I got to see her, but I'm even more glad that I got to see her this summer when she was still the Mom-mom I remembered. I didn't make it home for the funeral because I was already too busy with school work and such and instead spent that Sunday at a recruitment party. While it was not the place I wanted to be it was good to be with the sisters and our recruiting paid off. The following Saturday we had 7 new members walk down the ave to join our chapter. The apple pi pledge class, as we like to call them, is absolutely amazing, although I must admit it's a little scary knowing that I'm the pledge mom and it's my job to make sure they learn the ways of ZTA. But it's all good, and I'm so excited to get to know them all.
Things are still busy. The school work never ends. I'm becoming more like Emily everyday with the lack of sleep I'm getting. But I'm glad to be here and I'm glad Lisa's back. Life's still crazy in the SPAA house and I love it!
