Winter break is improving... but I'm still missing SU. Last week I hung out with Katie and we were going to watch a movie but ended up talking the whole night instead. It was great, because we don't get to hang out and chat much.

Then there were the holidays. We did Hanukkah at my aunt and uncle's with my dad's family, and Christmas Eve at my grandparents' complete with ham and latkes. It was fun, I'm just not sure why we haven't celebrated Christmas Eve with my grandfather before. Then Sunday was our family Christmas/Hanukkah. We did our usual chinese food and movies (we saw The Producers, which still makes me laugh even after a semester of Holocaust and American memory), but since it was also the first night of Hanukkah we did the whole gift thing. Normally we do 1 gift a night, but I decided that since I only had 7 boxes and all of my friends already had their gifts I would open mine. We're still lighting the menorah every night so it's all good. Anyway, I love all of my gifts and now have 3 new sweaters to help feed my addiction.

After the holidays things picked up some. Tuesday I went to see Memoirs of a Geisha with Katie, Kelly, Heather and Jon for Katie's birthday. It was good to hang out with that group and the movie was pretty good as well. Last night I went to the Amato's and EVERYONE was there. And by everyone I clearly mean the geeks. It was nice to see everyone, especially Micheley, who I haven't seen in forever. Then today I woke up early and headed into Philly to visit Anna. We went to see Brokeback Mountain (nothing hotter than gay cowboys, except maybe when those cowboys are Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhall) and went out to lunch. It was great to see Anna and catch up with her. Now I'm just hanging out, being a bum. Tomorrow night I'm hanging out with Heather, and New Year's Eve will be spent at Katie's. Things are clearly a lot better than they had been, and I'm definitely a lot busier, but I still think that I'll be ready to go back to school shortly after New Years. Only 2 more weeks.

While I am super excited to go back to school and see everyone, especially Lisa, I'm not looking forward to certain things. Mainly classes and homework, but also the fact that there are a lot of seniors who won't be there after this semester. And if the spring goes as quick as the fall did, I'm not sure how I'm going to handle life without my Putty and Kara, and my senior Zetas. But I'm not thinking about that right now. For now I will think about getting through my break and not getting too annoyed at my daddy.

Ok, I think I'm done now. The end.
