More fun with the TSA

Aug 24, 2008 16:59

Last week when I flew back from NC, I got stopped by the TSA (shocker). The woman declares that she needs to go through my bag, rummages around and suddenly exclaims, "Oh! It's a cucumber," as she pulls a zucchini out of my bag. While I was mildly entertained that the TSA does not know the difference between a cucumber and a zucchini, I was perhaps more entertained when I sat down at the gate and discovered that my sister had left her pocket-knife in that very same bag.
Score 1 for the TSA. Keep up the good work, guys.

My powerbook is on its deathbed. :( The drive is failing, and right now i'm trying to back everything up onto my NAS before it dies completely. ::sigh:: and it's another $350 to replace the drive, "because it's older technology." Granted, my powerbook is almost 4 years old, so i could just replace it. but they don't make them 12in any more, and i don't want anything bigger.
what to do...
