Have you ever been going through your comics collection and find a gap, either one issue or more and wonder why you don't have that one? Then you look up what issue it was, and it's like, "OH, THAT'S why I don't have that one." It's a significant issue like the end of a storyline or a first (or last) appearance.

Up until recently, I had that with New Mutants #98. It was the ONLY one I didn't have. I had completed the rest of the run years ago, but I just could not find that one. Why's that? Deadpool's first appearance? Oh that explains it.

My LSH collection has gotten to that point. All of the newer series (but the current one) are complete. In the last two years, I bought a bunch of Superboy and the Legion of Super-Heroes. I am down to needing one issue. So I'm sitting here trying to figure out what was so special about issue #294.

It was the conclusion of the Great Darkness Saga. Oh, this one is going to be fun to find. Edit: Or I could just look on eBay. It's under five bucks.

In other related news, Jeff and I can't go two years between doing inventory on our comics. It's just too out of hand. We're just waiting to see if we break 10,000 comics on this one.
