I had a fun weekend with Alisha. She came to visit me taking the train from kalamazoo to flint. However, the train was 2 hours late b/c one of the cars derailed. They were only 6 miles though from the station. She still got there though safe and sound just a little late.
Friday we went shopping and both did not buy anything. Which to me is amazing. However, we both tried on these huge 5" heels that we could actually walk on. Then, we went on on the jet ski. I was following this big boat that made huge waves. Almost fell off a couple of times but didn't. :) We sure did scream a lot...I think the little kids that were tubing on that boat were laughing at us. After that we saw bewitched. I would recommend it. I thought it was cute and will farrell was great in it.
Saturday we went to wal-mart to get my friend an awesome present that just had surgery on her brain. I am planning on going out there to k-zoo to visit her and give her her gift. Then we went out on the lake again. Then we ate some yummy hamburgers. And then we saw fireworks. We had like 17 people total on my pontoon boat AND the paddle boat. Yes the paddle boat. Since we couldn't fit four more people on the pontoon boat the others decided to take out the paddle boat using their cell phones as the headlights. lol..our generation. Then we went over to Mickeys and had smores. And...I caught myself on fire. YES you read it correctly I caught myself on fire. It was definately a blonde moment. But now that I look back on it...it was really funny so i'll share. Ok I was roasting my marshmellow on a nice pointy stick. Instead of roasting it over the tiny flame...I roasted it over the huge gigantic flame. Well the marshmellow went whoooooosh and caught on fire just like that. So I was like whoooo whooooo and was waving it back and forth. Well not such a good idea. Somehow the marshmellow flung off and got my right sleeve on fire. So Alisha was over the right speechless shaking her hands in panic and I was like AHHH AHHH. Then mickey on my right was like Are you on fire..and I was about to take off my cardigan and stomp on it but Mickey beat me to BLOWING out the fire. It was funny. I don't know maybe ya had to be there.
Then Today- Drove alisha back to the train station...then went to frankenmuth w/my parents. Went out to lunch. Then Lauryn came over and we went for a walk and ate some fresh raspberrys in my back yard. mmmmmmmm
So I had a great weekend. I am so thankful for my friends, family, and where I live.
Tomorrow I have to work all day on the bev. cart. I'm not really looking forward to it but it's ok it should be a good day to work cuz it is the 4th of July. So I'll have some fun out there. ;)
