spring update
just a few things to update:
1. got a promotion at work - 50% pay increase! nice! i've been waiting for this for about 5 months now...it's finally happened.
2. i had an interview for another position in another department at work (the day after i got my promotion) - looks very promising...and it pays even MORE than my new raise. and would put me in a much better position for growth.
3. my son got his first tooth. it's not all the way through just yet, but we can feel it.
4. my son is just way too cute. he just smiles and laughs all the time...what a joy.
5. i'm taking a 1/2 day from work tomorrow to get a much needed pedicure. it's 1/3 of my mothers day gift of a pedicure, facial and massage. i can't wait.
6. our kitty has to go to the vet tomorrow - he's been throwing up a lot lately and we just need to make sure he's ok...poor thing.
7. started taking spin classes 2X's a week at the gym. i love it. i don't remember sweating that much since drum corps 100 degree days.
8 speaking of drum corps - the cadets have spring training about 45 minutes away from here and we never did make it to a rehearsal. i really hope we can make it to the show in pittsburgh this summer - it's been a long time since we've been to a show.
