One thing that has taken me a while to get used to while I'm away at school is the fact that things change. Things change and so do people. It's one thing to grow distant but when a person you knew becomes someone totally different everything has to rearrange itself before things seem alright again. It's unfortunate that some friends don't want to be helped and therefore can't be. It's even more unfortunate when someone falls off the face of the earth only to treat you with the utter disrespect that you don't deserve. I still have the same love for the same people. It's just that some of those people don't care.
