hi my names Sarah and my hair was straight until I was in 3rd grade.
I really liked having bangs because they covered my huge forehead up, but now it would just be POOF HELLO.
kindergarten I liked to have my mouth open in almost all pictures.
first grade. the side pony tail was hip in a way, I guess.
skip all the way to 6th grade. I discovered I had curly hair and I had no idea what to do with it. It was mostly just frizzy all the time and I would pin it back a lot. Of course, 6th grade was when everything was awkward and I was still changing a whole bunch.
yeah, 8th grade sucked. I was in my "gothic phase" and had found out what a straightener was, but didn't have many skills as you can tell. woah, thats a bad picture.
the end of 8th grade is better! I get the hang of straightening my hair, but its still really fried.
freshman year rolls around and I get blond highlights in my virgin hair and start wearing cream in it to help the curls stay under control. I did such horrid hair styles. Lets just say if I had a time machine I would stay away from this time period here:
I continued keeping my hair fairly short and would straighten my bangs and keep the rest curly. It looked completely ridiculous.
This is a school picture. I was finally getting the hang of my curly hair, but I wasn't loving it that much.
SOPHOMORE YEAR!
I kept getting blond highlights a lot. I let it grow a bit longer, I'd mostly wear it down a lot. I love this color.
my hairdresser said if I grew it out the weight would pull down on the top so it wouldn't be so poofy. I started my goal, and would get 6 week trims.
I loved putting hair clips in it and just wearing it up.
JUNIOR YEAR!
I went crazy and dyed it dark red:
I thought the dark red was a bit too dark for my complexion and drowned me out, so I went lighter:
when the hairdresser cut my hair she left weird strands that stuck out. It looked like weird extensions, but I just dealt with it until it got better.
it got longer! I was ecstatic.
sometimes ill wear it up with a headband and my bangs curly, I like it this way.
this is what it looks like when I let it dry naturally, which I only do on weekends because I get up so early for school.
my hair as of now:
haha, I'm so glad that gave me something to do for the last 2 hours. :)
thanks.
