I'm Anna. I joined about a week ago and I thought I'd introduce myself. I'm fifteen. I have really wavy/kinda curly hair. When I was younger I had it long and it was HUGE because I didn't know how to take care of it. When I was twelve I got it cut pretty short and have had short hair ever since. Right now it's the longest it's been since I cut it several years ago and I'm trying to grow it out past my shoulders. I usually wash my hair at night, don't touch it and let it air dry. In the morning I use Got2Be flat-iron/blow-drying lotion and blow-dry it so that it's wavy instead of curly, then I put a bit of Matrix Sleek and Shine styling cream on it so that it's not frizzy. For about six months last year I was dying my hair black and in June I got it bleached back to my natural color (I'm a redhead). For awhile it was really damaged and felt like straw but I've been deep-conditioning religously and now the texture is back to normal. I dyed it purple two weeks ago (semipermanent) and today I got some Carrot Oil Cream that I just used and really like.

Here is my hair last summer about a month after I bleached it. (I'm on the right.)

Here is my hair air-dryed a few months ago. I really like it like this but when I sleep on it the curls get fucked up.

This is my hair when I straighten it a little (I never straighten it completely straight because I don't like the way it looks and it takes too long.)

This is what my hair looks like now.

I'm pretty satisfied with my hair but I'd like a way to make it kinda curly like it was in the second picture but when I sleep on it it gets really frizzy so I use the straightening lotion and blow-dry. I've tried using Garnier Fructise Curl Cream and I like it but it makes my hair really flat and my curls are long and spiral-ey. Is there anything I can do to keep it looking good overnight? I can't wash it in the morning because when I go outside it gets rained on while I'm waiting at the bus stop (I live in Seattle) and gets really, really frizzy and doesn't dry right. The same thing happens when I just get it damp. (Sorry if this is too long.)
