Haircut Advice?

I'm getting one of my regular hair trims this saturday (as I'm trying to grow my hair I only get a very small amount cut off every few months). However I'm just not sure what to do with my fringe. At the moment it's a long side fringe but it hardly ever behaves when it's this long and sometimes it just looks plain silly. I have had a sorta choppy front fringe that looked nice but one of my work mates said that she thinks fringes like that (front fringes) look stupid. And its not like I really care what anyone thinks cause I know it looks nice it's just that I don't know...

Can I have some opinions please......
