I've been a member for a while, but I'm not sure I introduced myself. I'm Erin and I'm 22 and I love love LOVE my curls. I'm pretty much a No-Poo girl, but I ditched DevaCurl for Tresemme. It looks like you've found an awesome stylist who actually knows how to layer curly hair! I'm jealous. My only advice is: if you want the front curls to be bigger, let them grow out. And vice versa for the back curls: if you want them more like the front curls, cut them shorter. But, I always think that the more uniform a girl's curls look, the more likely she got a perm! Frankly, your hair looks great as is.

I've actually bounced around between stylists so much that...it's ridiculous.

actually, the back of my hair is a problem because I like having shorter hair overall, but it doesn't curl in the back when it's too short. it just kind of...hangs there. not cool.

Wow. Interesting. I wonder what it is with the back of curly hair that just doesn't cooperate. Mine sort of sticks to my head at the top, then frizz-curls near the ends if I don't fluff the top while it's drying. I've seen pictures of it doing just that, which started the fluffing habit. Do your front curls do the same thing? Do they get... weird if you cut them too short? Maybe you could cut them shorter, and grow some of your back layers a bit longer. Would that even things out?

no, the ones in the front pretty much curl no matter what length they are. it's pretty good, actually.

Your curls look like mine, but nicer. I like the back.
What do you mean 3A/B- I am not sure I know what that means?
