I was planning on getting a haircut!
Hey I've been indecisive about getting a haircut for oh.. probably almost a year now, but I think I want to do it now. I have no idea how to take care of my natural hair so that it looks good because in high school (I'm now in college) I got it sightly relaxed twice and then it dreaded itself and I have the dreadlocks now. Before high school it was afro-ish. Also I'm a boy, so I don't know the difference between types of shampoos and conditioners and gels and all that stuff, so anything is helpful haha. I'm of mixed heritage (African-American, Native American, Irish, English, and German) so it's really curly, but inconsistent... and frizzy.
tl;dr: I want to cut my dreadlocks and want some suggestions on styles and products to use to keep my curly hair not awful. Thanks!

Approximately four years ago (sorry about the quality, these are all I had):
I want to still have it longish, not as long as it is now though. And definitely not as short as it was in the old pictures. Any suggestions would be awesome, thanks!
