Hi, I'm Karen, 18. Newly curly!
I used to have VERY curly hair when I was a little girl. When I got to late elementary it was thick and straight-to-wavy. I hit puberty and bam! Frizz and poof. I had NO idea how to wear it, so I'd pull it into a ponytail pretty much every day in early high school. Around 10th grade, I discovered the straightener! I straightened my hair pretty much every day for the last three years. :-X
Around Easter of this year, I discovered how adorable I looked when I let my hair go naturally, so I've been doing that ever since then. I love it! I feel happier and cuter, and it takes me much less time. :) Happy me.

The best picture I have of my natural hair. I usually just straighten the bangs.

My hair straight for comparison.
Any tips to make my hair less frizzy? My daily routine consists of:
+ shampooing and conditioning in the shower
+ combing it straight and then putting in some anti-frizz leave-in creme and spraying it with some curl stuff
+ running my hair under water again so it comes out wavy (if I don't do this, the curls don't come out as well and it's a ball of frizz and poof)
+ blowdrying with a diffuser until it's damp, then letting in airdry
