Well that is my sad curly hair =[. It hasn't been cut since last January, and that was only when I cut it myself, although I have trimmed my bangs as I deemed necessary until March of 2006, then I decided to give up the shears because nothing good was coming from it. I am in 10th grade now, and the last time I got it cut at a hair salon was March of 8th grade, so over 2 years ago, and I straightened it and disregarded the need of a proper curly-haircut. Now, I have learned to love and embrace the nuisance curls (yeah it's a love-hate thing), but my hair cut right now is just not doin' it for me. And although I learned to love them, I have not learned what to do with them. I am planning on getting my haircut this week, and I have the problem where I lack volume/curls on the top but towards the bottom it just poofs out with it's curly-self. I don't want it cut too much shorter, but I have read layers are a good idea.
My question is, do you have any pictures I could bring to tell and show the hairdresser that I want long layers in my hair? Also, is layers the answer for my hair?
Thank you curly-beauties!
