i can tell you rock, i can tell by your charm

I thought, since I am uber bored, and have nothing to do, that this would be as good a time as any to update. so here goes...

first of all, i got into penn state. so i am officially going to college. woohoo. go me. but i still have to apply to like 4 schools because my dad is making me. buzzkill.

next on the agenda... for some reason, my computer screen is like, tinted... i don't really know how to describe it any way other than that it's just like... grayish. except for right around the clicker. odd.

thirdly (if that is indeed a word) i love this song, and i am proud of myself for getting it stuck in everyone's head. you're all welcome. as i told brad yesterday, i'm so gangsta. and i take comfort in knowing that if astronaut doesn't work out, i'll always have rapper to fall back on.

let's see what else?

oh yeah, funny story.

so erin and i went to church this morning and all was grand and happy and nothing could have gone wrong because we were with jesus and it was the first sunday of advent and everyone was joyous and so on and so forth, right? WRONG. as we were leaving church, just me and erin in the car everything took a turn for the worst... my car DIED. in the middle of the church parking lot. and i was blocking like... everyone in. it was soo embarassing, but all me and erin could do was laugh at our situation because we are not the type to harp on our misfortunes, we don't let bad things get to us, etc. etc. hahahaha. about 6 families stopped to ask if everything was ok, including the sweet swedish lady and the really nice tall family. and the guy that i accidentally blocked in. but guess who, after the dust had cleared, inevitably saved the day?

thats right... conan conaboy senior.

hahah he totally took charge and helped me out until my dad got there and amazingly made the car start again, dont ask me how i have no idea, but of course that would happen to me... i would be sitting there for 20 minutes with a broken down car, and as soon as my dad gets there it starts up again. so anyway... me erin and margaret had a good laugh, and i think conan did too, and i'm sure my dad would have thought it was funny if he ever laughed. and then everyone went home, but i refused to drive erin home with the minivan (even though she has been so trustworthy in the past, i didn't want to take my chances). but it was funny. and it was heartwarming to see how many people cared enough to ask if they could help (even though conan had it COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY UNDER CONTROL). so i guess im just glad it happened in a church parking lot of all places, because everyone there was full of the body and blood of christ and the spirit of god and whatnot, and therefore very helpful in general. a learning experience overall, i guess i can say.

i feel like watching a movie. i've watched about 5 movies in the last 3 days and i think i want to continue the trend.

oh yeah. I LOVE CAROLINE KAYES, MY FAVORITE COUSIN ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH. she's adorably cute, and i love her a toooooon.

that is all. now i'm going to go help my favoritest cousin caroline remodel her profile, and then watch lord of the rings with a tall glass of iced tea. because that is how i roll.
