I should be sleeping....
Its around 12:39am in Santa Barbara CA and I should really be asleep but I actually felt like posting something for once.
Anyways life has been treating me fairly so far, but the one thing I am excited for is Halloween. Halloween in this part of town is notorious for being lulzy and insane. Let me tell you! Just yesterday was my friends freaking 21st birthday party. It was big, but was I in for a 'teat'! (ooooh bad joke...) Lo and behold out of the corner of my eyes is a girl with ONLY pasties on and skimpy underwear dancing on the dance floor. Everyone at the party was like whatever, except me and my friends who proceeded to just look really freaking confused! The kicker was that my friend who the party was for did not really even know her!
Well those are the types of things that I expect during Halloween! The theme of the party was wtf, so yeah it definetely drew that reaction out of me! Sheesh.
Also today was the day of the dead celebration and I went to Santa Barbara art museum to check out the Altars my students from the school I tutor made. They were really cute and sweet! These kids despite being hellish when it comes to doing their work really have a great heart and demeanor (when they want). I just hate that many teachers see them as failures, when I believe that they have the correct type of personality to possibly suceed in any type of cut-throat buisness. They also seem to have the potential to do just about anything they want. They are intelligent kids, but for several reasons their language skills are very poor. People just need to really give them a figthing chance.
I am also happy about tommorow because me and roomies are heading out to pumpkin patch, the art supply store and finally the thrift store for Halloween shopping fun!
Well I said more than I thought I would actually say tonight, so I am now off to bed.
