Culture shock was quite festive...the bands were okay and it was nice to see so many people on our campus...though most of the people there didn't go to our school. Marge, sam and will dropped by to join the fun...they likened the event to woodstock. and it actually did feel like that. but we also had carnival rides! Lauren and garrett convinced evan and I to go on the ferris wheel with them, and let me tell you, that ferris wheel was pretty sketchy. Then, we went into the haunted house...more than once, because we unsuccessfully made it through the first time...this was a hilarious endeavor because we were all screaming like seven-year-olds, especially Randie who apparently saw dead bodies. Oooh and I also went down the very tall 'fun slide'...although I almost chickened out, but I'm glad I didn't because it was very enjoyable...except instead of going "Wheeee!!!" all the way down I screamed. Anyway, I must say that one of the best parts of our 'circus' (as one of my professors described it) was being able to eat carnival foods such as funnel cake.
The wonderful weather is making me extremely happy...tori and I studied in the sun for 2 hours today so although this weekend has included a lot of goofing off I still managed to get some work done! yayyyy
ok, bye for now.
