Break was great! for some reason it felt longer than winter break even though that was a whole month and this was only a week...but, I enjoyed it. It was really good to see everyone and it won't be long until what seems will be a fun summer. I can't believe there are only 5 weeks left here...thinking about not being with my roommates or in a college setting for a whole 3 months makes me really sad. Especially now since it's getting warm...I'm remembering how great it is when the entire school is outside on the lawn barbecuing, dancing, laughing, playing guitar...it's just so...happy. and artsy. i love being surrounded by that.
Anyway I'm declaring my major tomorrow! as psychology. I'm aiming in the direction of being a child or family therapist...possibly minor in art and do art therapy? we'll see. However...I have to take bio next semester, which I'm not looking forward to.
Tonight went to a film festival on campus with Anoush and that was cool...the films were okay...but the performances in between the films were better...one girl even sang opera! so many talented people. later on we met up with Anoush's suitemate Margo and went to check out 'open mic' but...no one wanted to break the ice and open the mic...so that was awkward. Which prompted me to say "Well then I guess it's time for plan B"...which was also awkward because there was no plan B. but hey, there's always room for dessert at ritazza so we decided to go there and i was quite satisfied with my napoleon.
Going to visit Flo at NYU tomorrow night and watch this really good band ippazzi perform at a club in the city...very excited. goodnite for now!
