Hi, curlies!
I am in need of some advice. I just purchased some of Ouidad's products and would like to also get a hair cut to go along with the new products. Problem is, I haven't been able to find a salon around here (Mississippi) that has anyone who knows how to cut curly hair. I went to my mom's stylist in December and she brushed my hair out, then cut it...UGH. I thought we had a Ouidad certified stylist an hour away, but the salon just sells the products. The few people I know with curly hair keep telling me it doesn't matter or that every salon has someone who knows curly hair. I find this hard to believe.
At any rate, since I've struck out finding anyone, I have toyed with the idea of cutting it myself. Has anyone here done that? Are there things to know when cutting your own hair? Would you recommend doing so?
