Well, I hope everyone had a fun, and safe 4th. Mine was pretty good. I guess I couldn't ask for much more of a 4th of July celebration. It was pretty nice because my sister had a few of her friends over. So it was a pleasant surprise to have people to actually talk to. I enjoyed that very much.
So my dad and I decorated the backyard for the festivities. To make a long story short, we went a little overboard. Our backyard was flag-happy. So much, in fact, that I had to take a pictures. So just for the heck of it.

The sad part is, I couldn't find a good angle to really see all of the flag-ness. This was the best I could do. Look closely. You'll see it.
I told my parents the table cloths were what did it. I mean, come on.
In other news, I've decided to do a good deal of reading this summer. It's a good way for me to keep my mind from rottingactive this summer. So, here are my picks...
<>"The Brush Off" by Shane Maloney
<>"Stiff" by Shane Maloney
<>"The Notebook" by Nicholas Sparks
<>"The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" Series by Douglas Adams
I read the first book in the Adams series, and I've just started the second book. So expect major quote-age from the entire series (Huzzah!). In celebration of this, I post a pic
I relate to Aurthur Dent in ways I can't even begin to describe. Plus just look at him. Do I need a reason to post a picture of him? I think not.
So last night was the traditional ice cream night, which is always good fun. My brother started this thing where every Tuesday night he rounds up some people that go to my church in the neighborhood and we go to Baskin Robbins because they have a scoop for a dollar. It's an awesome deal. It's just a thing. He bugs me about it almost every time I see him. "Hey, Sarah! Are you comin' down to Baskin Robbers with us?" To this day, I still don't think I entirely know why he calls it that. "Same bat time, same bat channel." This makes me feel good about life. I enjoy it immensely.
That's all the big news 'round these parts, I guess. I'm off to pay registration today and visit the University a bit. What can I say? I'm a student at heart. It's what I do. That is, until I graduate. Then I cut off all previous connections with the world of corrupt western education. For sure.
I'll be back later for more. I gotta take a shower....Until next time.
