I hope not!!

So last week was my first week of being paid by them but they f**ked up and I didn't get paid.  Turns out that Nina had used the wrong sort code and not noticed.  If I hadn't phoned to see where my wages where they'd never have noticed.  She tells me she'll ring payroll and get back to me.  I got fed up of waiting and rang her back, she had the info in front of her but hadn't bothered ringing *grrr*

So she tells me to phone my bank and give them the sort code she used and get them to put the money back into my account!  I rang Nationwide and they said that the sort code she had used was not one of theirs and they had no idea where the money had gone.  I rang Nina back and told her this she said she would have to speak to payroll and then they'd have to BACS me the money again which would take three working days.  I said that this wasn't helpful to me as how would I get to work next week when I had no money and wouldn't be able to fuel the car (not entirely true but she's not to know that!) and do you know what she did?  SHE SIGHED!!!!  Excuse me love but you fucked up not me!  She again says she'll ring me on my mobile.

A bit later I get a call on the works number saying can she check my mobile number because apparently she's been phoning and texting someone called Paul!  She says "but you told me you were getting a new mobile, I have it written on your file" erm no actually I didn't!  Her response was that she "has a horrible cold and feels like rubbish"!!  I did snarkily ask her if she'd been on the nightnurse.

Anyway she rings payroll and they tell her that they have to wait to see if Nationwide have bounced the money back to them before they will do anything.  I asked her about a CHAPS payment and she said she didn't think they'd do that but she would ask.  She tells me that she is going out but that Wayne will ring me when payroll have phoned them back.  So eventually I get a call to say that Nationwide have bounced the money back and that they don't have the facility to make a CHAPS payment so they will send me a cheque which I can then take to the nearest branch of Natwest who will cash it for me as long as I ring the agency first to give them an hour warning and they will ring ahead and tell the bank to expect me!

So the cheque eventually arrives on Monday but I was off sick so didn't take go to get it cashed until Tuesday.  I rang the agency like Wayne told me too and they obviously don't communicate because Nina had no idea WTF I was taking about *rolls eyes*.  Anyway I tell Wayne which branch of Natwest I'm going to and he says he'll get head office to ring them.

So I give them an hour and a half and off into town I go.  Yeah and when I get to Natwest they have no clue WTF I'm on about and tell me that even if they didn't they couldn't cash the cheque I have because it's crossed account payee only.  Needless to say I rang Wayne.  He tells me Natwest are talking rubbish and he will ring me back in 10 minutes.  I wander off to look in some shops while I wait as there is no way I'm driving all the way back to work just to have to come into town again.  Wayne tells me to go back to Natwest and tell them to look in Customer notes because it is in there and to speak to Customer liaison and that they always do this (what fuck up people's wages?).

So I trundle off to Natwest.  The guy I spoke to was really helpful thank god.  He says no there isn't anything in customer notes them miraculously while he's looking at the screen it appears!  But they've got the amount slightly wrong!  As it was only a matter of 76p the business department said they would cash the cheque for me anyway so one and a half hours later I get my wages.

If the last nine months has taught me anything its temper control LMAO.

And on the plus side whilst hanging around I actually tried on some jeans that fit so yay me! lol
