Random Snippets of my Life
Can't type much...I believe I'm getting carpal tunnel :-/ So here are some quick things:
Got a new car. A red 2002 Nissan Sentra. So pretty darn new...not just "new to me, but a 10 year old metal clunker" She is adorable and for now her name is Candy Apple. I liked just "Apple" but Wil said meh to that. And yes my cars must have names. Female names, usually. So I skipped the 1990's and went from an 89 to an 02. It's cool though. I am VERY happy with her, although I miss Rose a bit (my trusty Buick).
I got rid of a ton of clothes that I was holding on to for "when I lose weight." Ugh. It was depressing, but also liberating. Yes, I used to be a skinny minnie. No, I'm not anymore. I don't consider myself fat, but my old clothes simply didn't fit anymore. I will lose weight when I can, but for now, I just need work clothes. Which meant...SHOPPING :-D for clothes for my new job.
I start my new job in exactly a week. I didn't go to non-required orientations to hear Randi Weingarten and other NYC Department of Ed bigwigs to pat themselves on the back...although now I regret it....almost. Whatever, it was at Brooklyn Tech...who wants to travel there? You do? Great. Well, I don't.
So, in searching for my work clothes, I inevitably came across some super-cute non-work stuff...and bought this:

Lastly...FANTASY FOOTBALL IS OFFICIALLY UNDERWAY!!!
To be continued, because due to my arm pain, im typing with my left hand and a pencil eraser. Toodles.
