This semester seems to be a milion times better than last semester already.

I like my freshman comp class already; you can tell a group's personality right away and I think my students will be fairly good participators. Anything beats the one section I had last spring; they just refused to participate.

You're not an Uggs woman are you? I love those boots you are showing in this post... they look very functional.

Ha! No i could never bring myself to wear Uggs (mostly because i can't imagine spending that much on fur boots).

Winter has been bad this year and i have some cheap boots from target but they aren't waterproof. These are waterproof and fleece lined so i can trudge through the UNPLOWED parking lot to class. I'm just tired of the bottoms of my pants getting wet!

And the shiny red color makes them oh so appealing.

Thanks for the good thoughts. I keep reminding myself that nothing is set in stone....acceptance letters could be possible.
