Things and stuff...
Yesterday was a pretty great 4th of July. Brian and I ended up at 2 parties. We hung out with friends, swam in the pool, bbq'd several kinds of meats and things, and then went to see the fireworks at the top of this hill in East LA. The view was amazing, and we saw hundreds of fireworks, many by locals in their back yards, and many that were professional. The entire East LA pocket was ringing with distant reports, low rumbles, high cracks, and it sounded like war for about 3 hours straight! The smoke was so heavy in the air that we could no longer see the lights of downtown, and the lights at Dodgers Stadium were cloudy! Now, back to your regularly scheduled work week!
