Yesterday S2C and I took NYK2 out to lunch and then to see
The National Geographic Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition over in Peel.
It costs Manx National Heritage around £20,000 to get the exhibition here for six weeks - but is something of a coup as there are only a limited number of venues.
If you get the chance to see it, wherever you are, I totally recommend it. We were all fascinated by the pictures - and the descriptions with each of where and how the photographer took the picture.
Then we did a quick turn around and NYK2 and I went down to church to help with refreshments for the Manx Grand Prix, which is like an amateur version of the TT - much quieter spectator wise, if not bike wise (especially as there are classes for Classic Bikes as well, and they are a lot louder than the current ones!).
Today was a Bookshop day, and tomorrow is another Practice Day for the bikes and so another day of doing refreshments. Friday, Saturday, and Monday are also race days (weather permitting) - with a possible additional session on Sunday afternoon if required. Even though I really do enjoy it, I am quite looking forward to reaching Tuesday!
