Not quite the picture post I had intended...!
So - yesterday NYK2 and I were going to go to the Home of Rest for Old Horses - except that she had forgotten that she was going to be at her grandparents all day Thursday and Friday... (The NYM has just started a new job and so is not able to work from home as much at present.)
So no photos of elderly horses and donkeys.
This morning I went up to Bride (the village in the north of the island where my mother's family have lived for hundreds of years), taking some flowers for the family grave. I was also going to take a couple of photos inside the church as I particularly wanted a picture of the ceiling over the altar. But the church was locked.
So... no new photos of the church interior either.
Well - I did find this one I took years ago - but it doesn't really show the beautiful sky of stars over the altar;
On the other hand, I did finish a wee jumper for Edie - very plain pattern as I wanted the yarn to be the star -
