Some of the people who commented on the Tegi pictures mentioned what a lovely view there was out of that window.
So here are a few more pictures taken when I was up yesterday evening.
This is the outside of the house - it is L-shaped and that bit is the short arm so you can see how it sits into the landscape. Theirs is the last house in what is a short cul-de-sac, and so there is another house about 10m to the right of the bush you can just see at the edge of the picture.
As you can see there is nothing but fields behind the house, and it is set into the hillside.
This is the view out of the back window of the big sitting room;
And this is the view from the smaller living room;
There is a decked area out there with comfortable furniture and a small fire-pit. The back door is further around, at the side of the house, and outside that is more grass and bushes, and an outdoor dining area for the NYM's beloved BBQ.
Being set into the hillside as it is keeps those living rooms and so on rather nicely cool at present. But the best views are from upstairs.
This is the view North from the left hand window you can see in the picture - it is the 'reading corner' on the landing;
And and the view from the spare bedroom/office;
Whilst the kids bedrooms both look to the South;
And Tehi Tegi has not only all those windowsills to choose from - but is free-range over all the land in the pictures as she has a cat-flap 'tuned' to her microchip and comes and goes as she pleases.
