Weekly View from the Window Post, and a rather nice book.
This morning, for a while, it was not raining. And the wind has been quite calm all day, so the boat has sailed as usual.
Here are the pictures for this week -
Out the front;
You can see the windows have suffered from the stormy weather, and also that it was bright enough for the reflections to be bouncing back and forwards through the room as there are windows at both ends.
Out the back there is still a little colour, despite the storms. (If you click on the pictures it is possible to zoom in and you can play spot the plants in bloom.)
Some are closer to horizontal rather than vertical at present, but still doing their best!
And I have been reading this book. It is really rather beautiful, with nice recipes that do fit with the places and characters, and lovely illustrations. A gift to give - or possibly ask for, for Christmas.
