Peas for engarian - with bonus Frog!
engarian asked how the pea crop was looking. So just for her, here are a couple of pictures taken earlier today, one from each side of the 'rigging';
Here is our harvest from a few days ago, complete with a handful of blackcurrants -
NYK2 and I harvested quite a lot more today, but we sat out on the decking to shell them, without the camera, and she ate at least half of them as we went along!
Bonus - one of the summer bulbs planted in front of the shed is now in flower - look - a yellow gladioli.
At least one of the others is also going to flower. They were part of a random selection so the colours are all a mystery until they bloom.
And now for an unexpected frog in the parking area... About six weeks ago I spotted a tiny frog in the garden. Over the past few weeks we have either spotted the same one a number of times, or there are a few of them. Then when I went to get in the car to go shopping the other day I found this guy sitting in front of it.
If he sat on the palm of my hand he would fill it. So either he has grown well, or this is one of the parental generation.
