I mentioned, in my last post, that I have flowers in pots again, despite having a proper garden now. This is because there is actually a broad concrete path between the back of the house and the raised garden and, last year, I realised that this was much of the view from part of the conservatory, and a bit bare

How are you settling in?

Oh, I'm having buyer's remorse. Not sure how much of that is this actual place, or my weird brain. Jan says I have ants in my pants.

Oh I am sorry it isn't as good as you had hoped. We have had a number of problems with the house since we got here (... roof leaking for example....) but have never regretted our choice and it sad that you don't feel as settled.

I think it's mostly my brain, which I am working on.

I'm sorry about the leaky roof, but that at least is fixable.

The leaky roof is fixed - just need to redecorate where the big stain is on the living room ceiling :)
