Christmas Eve and all's well.
Well I hope all is well, anyway.
Presents are wrapped, S2C is just hoovering D-d's bedroom as I used it as gift-wrap central, the house is decorated and there is only a turkey to stuff and cabbage to chop this evening after church - oh, and a cake to decorate!
D-d is out for lunch with her NYM* and then we will go up to see Mum with her presents, returning in time to go to church.
*NYM - nice young man - I feel he has now earned his own acronym!
So - here I share our tree -
And here is one of my favourite Christmas songs - if you haven't heard this version do listen - it is most unusual but I really like it. (I like the pictures, too
And there are a pictures of a few of our tree ornaments
As you can see they include Archbishop Sentamu and a meerkat in a woolly jumper - of such things are family traditions made!
And finally a thank you to everyone who sent cards and apologies to anyone I've forgotten; the loss of my address list was something of a blow to my Christmas organisation :)
