Okay, my turn. I rarely ever used my TV. My roommate wanted it and used sometimes, whereas I never had the time to use it. But, I did use the microwave 24/7 and if you lived as far as I did from the kitchen, you want a microwave. A DVD player is a must, but if your computer/labtop has one, that's fine too. I aggree with alicia, you don't need a stereo. And you definitely DON'T need all your clothes. Just bring a few sweaters up and on thanksgiving break go swap out your wardrobe. You do need a phone, but nothing special. And definitely a yes on the toilet paper. They give it to you, but at random and never enough.

Okay, what I remember needing most was headsets. I always listened to music from my comp/mp3 player and since my roomie was always around, i had to use the headsets. You need lots and lots of under the bed bins. They are the most amazing thing since sliced bread. And I got this at project grad as my senior gift and i thought it sucked but i ended up loving it - a hot water maker. Instant tea. I know, sounds ridiculous, but it's nice. You also need a mug! And use paper/disopsable dishware, it makes life so much easier. Washing dishes in the dorm is a bitch.

The best thing I bought was a purchase i got at wal-mart. It was this thing for the closet. As you are aware i'm sure, the closet only has one rod. Well it's this thing at walmart that allows you to hang on to your closet and make another rod beneath it. IT WAS AMAZING. I doubled my closet space (i sound like a commercial.)

Hey, a lot of the stuff on that list is kind of not necessary. As much as I probably should have, I only used the iron/ironing board once. And they recommend some sort of mop or something, but as ghetto as this is, lysol wipes do a better (and cheaper/easier) job on the floor. Oh, and just buy some sort of floor rug or floor mat. It's just easier than all that tile. The floor is ugly anyways.

wow, this was a whole lot longer than alicia's. Where are you living in cawthon? Omg, i'm so jealous. I loved cawthon, you're going to have so much fun. DO you know your roommates? Split purchases with them (TV, DVD player, phone etc.) it makes it so much easier/cheaper! I'm so glad you're going to FSU, you're gonna love it!!!
