An interesting past two days to say the least...
Had a nice conversation last night before sleeping. Drove Justin back to OKC. Had another conversation in the car. It was really a nice drive up there, until it started raining and all the mist from other cars made it very hard to see. Met a few people, walked around the campus, which is very nice, played some pool, and loitered at Bueno for an hour or so talking.
I've actually learned quite a bit this weekend. Some good, some bad. I have the urge to cut off contact with about 25% of everyone here in town and a few out of it. It would really make life a lot easier, but I'm not a complete asshole, so I'll judge it on whoever pisses me off. I've learned that I give some people too much respect, respect they deserve as being a human, but do not deserve due to their personality or decisions. I've been stepped on for too long by some people, and I won't have it anymore. Why should I go out of my way to make people happy when I'm treated like shit in return? Don't get me wrong, I'll help a few people out, but other than that, everyone's cut. You don't know what you've got until its gone, and then you appreciate what someone did for you a little bit more. I know that no one really cares, nor do I, but perhaps some will take notice to it.
Other than that, I don't feel like posting anything else about this subject or ones of the like. If you're one of the people I'm talking about, which there really aren't all that many, you'll know. If you have to ponder over it for awhile, there's a good chance I'm not talking to you. Don't bother me with your little questions asking if you're one of them. Trust me, you know if I'm talking about you.
You know, I'm tired as hell. Just got back from OKC a few minutes ago, sometime around 1:30am. Had to drive through rain so heavy my wipers couldn't clear the windshield on the highest setting. In the dry parts, mainly Ardmore north, it was a very nice drive. Going 85+ on an empty highway except for the random groupings of semi trucks, which shook my car from the wind quite a bit while I passed them. Smooth road and no one in my way. Ok, screw it, leaving for class in just over 6 hours, going to sleep.
