Your particular coherence is unique to you. This is what makes it so wonderful. It makes me work - doesn't just lay it all out like sitting passively in front of the idiot-box. I love and crave this. This is, bar none, the BEST Jack and Elizabeth story I've read post-DMC. Not just for the fact they don't "get together" (because they wouldn't), but for how Elizabeth is portrayed.

Now that she knows how long a decade feels, she's scared she can't do it again.

THIS is an Elizabeth I can feel sad for and understand the dilemma she has, and how hard it might be to wait for someone for so long all of one's life. And we don't get much of your Will, but he's a charming thing, and I love him for it.

Freakin' brilliant! By the time Will returns, I could feel the length of time Elizabeth had to wait. All the details and moments were the ones we needed to hear, nothing at all out of place or unnecessary. I could hear everyone's voice perfectly, and could see them doing everything you described; totally in-character and I was endeared by everyone. I can't say enough good things about this fic, but thank you for sharing it.
